Having completed many of South Africa's stage races and ridden extensively in France and Italy on tours, the concept of cycling, social and culinary adventures in the Karoo began to take root. An adventure that would take you to remote corners of Southern Africa where resources are limited and only small supported groups could venture. A completely different experience to the norm, enjoying good food and quaffing local wines at night, to a bit of hardcore riding in slightly adverse conditions during the day. An experience that makes you feel alive and panders to your adventurous spirit. A total break from the humdrum of urban life and the pressures of income generation.
